Last night I installed Stable Diffusion directly onto my PC.  What I love about Stable Diffusion is that they offer courses for a reasonable price to get you started. All the information out there is a little daunting and unclear around Ai. I have found throughout my career of being a lifelong learner that it’s best to learn the basics. Usually, the platforms offer their own resources that are straightforward. The installation process was easy and was able to get set-up within a reasonable time frame. The longest part of the installation was downloading the checkpoint and completing the installation.

I did have an error during generation. I had to add this code to the webui-user.bat file:

 set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=--xformers --medvram

My initial reaction to the technology is that it is a powerful image generation tool. If you know exactly what you are looking for, SD11 is the perfect platform. The more detailed prompt, the better results.

If you are looking for more of a collaborative experience where you are generating ideas and styles, Midjourney, Rubbrband, Adobe Firefly are my top collaborators.

Another great feature of SD11 is that you can train a LoRA, taking those style references from other Ai programs and inputting those images into a LoRA for consistency would be key.
